How to Apply

From submitting your application, through to when you arrive in Suffolk, we’re here to help you every step of the way.

The 5X社区 offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a number of subject areas. Choose from the options below to find out more about how to apply for your chosen course. 

If you are applying for January intake there are some key deadlines to be aware of; 

  • Deadline for submitting your application: 10 November 2023

  • Deadline to meet the conditions of your offer to receive an unconditional offer: 15 November 2023

  • Deadline to send your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) deposit: 17 November 2023

  • Deadline for when we will confirm your CAS: 1 December 2023

Application Pathways

Applications for full-time undergraduate courses should be submitted through the . You are permitted to choose up to five course/institution choices, however we would encourage all applicants to research course content carefully before making final choices. Further guidance about how to apply and write your personal statement can be found on the UCAS website. 

You should aim to submit your application by the UCAS equal consideration deadline in January each year; applications received after this date will still be considered subject to the availability of spaces on your chosen course. An up to date list of current vacancies is available on the UCAS website.

The UCAS application fee is currently £27, and you can make a maximum of six choices.

Some of our courses have different admission and selection criteria, such as interviews or portfolio reviews. Visit the entry requirements section of the each course page to learn more about any additional requirements.

Applications for undergraduate part-time study can be made through our part-time application form. Please ensure that you complete the form as fully and accurately as possible, and ensure that you upload any educational certificates, references or ID documents before you press submit. This will ensure that the Admissions Office can process your application as smoothly as possible. Many of our undergraduate courses are offered on a part-time basis, offering a more flexible approach to learning, allowing you to complete your studies over a longer period of time.

Please note that if you are an international student applying to study in the UK on the new Student Route visa you must study your degree on a full-time basis.

Applications for postgraduate taught study can be made directly to the University using our postgraduate application form. Please ensure that you complete the form as fully and accurately as possible, and ensure that you upload any educational certificates, references or ID documents before you press submit. This will ensure that the Admissions Office can process your application as smoothly as possible.

Please note that if you are an international student applying to study in the UK on the new Student Route visa you must study your degree on a full-time basis.

The Graduate School is pleased to offer suitable applicants the opportunity to study at Postgraduate Research level in a wide range of interesting areas including Computer Science and Informatics, Health and Biological Sciences and Business Management.
